God Meets You In Doubt

He's still there, even when you're unsure.

Matthew 14:31

“Immediately, Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. You of little faith, why did you doubt?”

Dear child of God,

I know it’s not easy to talk about doubt when it comes to faith.

Most people avoid it because they’re afraid it means something is wrong with their faith.

But the truth is, even faithful people face moments where everything feels shaky.

You’ve probably had days when you prayed and nothing seemed to change.

In those times, it’s natural to feel unsure, and that doesn’t make you a bad Christian.

Even Peter, who was bold enough to step out of the boat, started to sink when he got scared, and doubt crept into his mind.

Even after that, Jesus didn’t let Peter drown.

He immediately reached out and held him up.

Jesus didn’t say, “Come back to me, Peter, when your faith is stronger.”

Instead, He helped him right in the middle of the struggle.

That’s how God treats us, too.

Isaiah 41:13

“For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”

He doesn’t expect you to never have doubts or reject you because of your doubts.

He just wants you to bring your doubts to Him instead of running away.

He’s not asking for perfect faith. He’s asking for honest faith in Him.

So if you’re in a place right now where things feel unclear and your heart is tired, I just want to remind you that God hasn’t left.

He sees what you’re carrying, even the stuff you haven’t told anyone about. And He’s not disappointed in you for feeling this way.

So don’t give up and distance yourself from Him because of the doubts.

Instead, keep believing in Him, praying to Him, choosing to trust Him, and moving forward.

He’s still with you, working for you, and He’s not letting go because He loves you.

Praise God.
