Feeling Stuck?
Take Your Next Step in Faith
Ephesians 4:28
“Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.”
Praise the lord, my friend,
Have you ever felt like you keep repeating the same mistakes, no matter how hard you try to stop?
You want to change, but the same anger, pride, or old habits keep coming back.
I’ve been there and know how frustrating it feels, as though you will never get it right.
God does not want us to stay stuck in that cycle, my friend.
He wants us to leave behind the patterns that hold us back and start walking in a way that brings life to our hearts and to those around us.
Ephesians 4:28 reminds us that God calls us to replace what takes from others or ourselves with actions that are honest, purposeful, and useful.
I know it is easier said than done.
Turning away from old habits does not happen all at once.
We may stumble even after deciding to follow God, and that is okay.
He does not expect perfection from us.
What matters is that we take the next step, even when it feels difficult.
Every time we choose honesty instead of deceit, patience instead of anger, or generosity instead of selfishness, we allow God to work in our lives.
Small steps like these might seem ordinary at first, but they have the power to change our hearts.
Over time, the habits that once controlled us begin to lose their strength, and God’s transformation becomes visible in our lives.
As Philippians 2:13 says:
Phillippians 2:13
“For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.”
My friend, this means we do not have to wait until we feel strong or perfect to begin.
God is already at work in us.
Every choice we make to follow Him, no matter how small, is part of His plan to shape our lives.
Each moment we act in obedience, and each decision to walk away from an old habit, matters to Him.
So, to stay on this path of obedience, let us start each day by asking God to guide our actions and decisions.
And remember, my friend, that change is a journey.
There will be moments when we stumble, but let it not discourage us.
Instead, let’s keep going with a trust that each faithful step, each act of obedience we take, draws us closer to God and builds a life that reflects His love and purpose.
So if you’ve been feeling consumed by your old ways of living, take the next step today, my friend.
Turn to God, confess, and turn from your old ways with a trust that God is at work in you, guiding your hands, shaping your heart, and helping you walk in integrity and purpose.
God bless you.
Praise God, my friend.
